Slow motion is fast forward

What is a body?
You usually don't feel the urgency for answers,
when your body is flowing and flipping.
However,
when muscles and bones rebel against their functions,
questions start to pop up and torment.
It's widely accepted that bodies reveal themselves in movement.
But, what if a body just wants to stay still?
Prolonging the sleep position in order to keep your dreams alive?
Perhaps all the run and walk
washed away your wants and wills.
Pain signals the breaking-point,
reminding you to stay close to your chest.
What feels like a curse,
might in fact be a blessing in disguise.
The fear of missing out
makes us miss out on
the intense feeling of belonging
that can only happen inside of us.
Sometimes we are the only crowd we need.
What if that pain you feel,
is just your body asking for attention and affection?
Like a child lost in a dark and unfamiliar place?
Your body needs stillness,
to integrate all those external experiences.
To digest and translate them into the right coordinates.
Think of the snakes' bodies while digesting large animals.
Snakes can eat cows!
How is that possible? - you ask.
By accepting that bodies also need breaks,
so that they can grow and dance into the right direction.
So that they can absorb energy and be nourished,
and prepare for the next somersault.
